Quinten Thijssen
Polymer chemist and FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellow at Ghent University.
My research spans polymer and materials chemistry, photochemistry, reaction kinetics, and light-based additive manufacturing.
About
I obtained my PhD in Chemistry from Ghent University in 2024 and currently hold an FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship. My work has included research stays at the University of the Basque Country, the University of California, Berkeley, and Queensland University of Technology.
My research has resulted in 21 peer-reviewed publications, including 11 first-author papers, with first-author work in Chemical Reviews, Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, Materials Horizons, Advanced Functional Materials, and Progress in Polymer Science.
